Paolo Tieri is a tenured researcher at the IAC - Istituto Applicazioni del Calcolo (Institute for Applied Computing) at the CNR - Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (National Research Council), and adjunct professor of Bioinformatics at Sapienza University of Roma, Italy.
PT holds a M.Sc. in Physics and a Ph.D. in Systems Biology. He has been a
research fellow at (and continues to collaborate with) the Interdept. Center ‘L. Galvani’ for
Biocomplexity and in the section of
Immunology at Alma Mater Universita’ di Bologna since 2003, before joining IAC in 2011 as faculty staff. PT is involved
in network biology, in data integration, in the reconstruction, quantitative
and multiscale modeling and analysis of cellular signaling networks of the
immune system, as well as in theoretical immunology topics (see “Publications and CV” for more details).
